ACA Meeting - Salt Lake City, Summer 2007
Just a few notes -
A kind graduate student took a picture of Mr. B. and a new friend from the East. Her husband is a colleague of a good friend at WPI. It is always nice to chat with young, enthusiastic, people about life and research. Thanks for the nice picture.
The Shelx workshop was wonderful. George Sheldrick has been making the lives of crystallographers a lot easier for about forty years and deserves a lot of credit for making his software available as well as the necessary tools to make it usable. The number of outstanding people training with him is quite remarkable. And he still seems to be at the top of his game.
Mr. B. also saw many old friends and had a generally delightful time except for the hot weather in Salt Lake City.
Ciao, Bonzo
