Course Correction in Higher Education Part II

The high tuition high financial aid experiment has been a financial disaster for middle income families as the "financial aid" has been in the form of ever increasing student loans.  See section 1 in Course Correction in Higher Education and Whose Fault--Crushing Student Debt.

The experiment is about to end:

For 40 years federal money has sustained higher education while enabling its worst tendencies.  That's about to change.

See the March 4, 2013 report on Fixing Financial Aid in The Chronicle of Higher Education. (Emphasis added)
