Informed Consent Requires Conflict of Interest Disclosure

My friend and fellow University of Minnesota alum writes:

Disclosure of conflicts of interest is necessary to obtain a valid informed consent.  Here is a seminar for the people in the Office of the Vice President for Research at the U of M, the Department of Psychiatry, the institutional review board, and the attorneys in the Office of the General Counsel who advise them.
